Dr. Mark R. Holmes, D.M.D.
Dr. Mark R. Holmes, the founder and director of The Dental Walk-In Clinic of Tampa Bay and Pinellas, has
dedicated his professional career to providing quality focused, accessible dental care to the Greater Tampa
Bay area. Since establishing his practice in 2002, he has treated thousands of dental emergencies, including
traumas while embracing new technology to perfect the delivery of state of the art dentistry.
Dr. Holmes also believes in the importance of dental education. He has recently completed hundreds of hours of
continuing education in multiple disciplines of dentistry. Over the past seven years, Dr. Holmes has trained
numerous dentist, team members, and student dentist at the University of Florida College of Dentistry, where he
is a clinical assistant professor, in the diagnosis and delivery of emergency dentistry.

Dr. Philip L. Gibson, D.M.D.
Dr. Gibson received a Bachelor of Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida in 2000 and
graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2004. Dr. Gibson then completed a one year
Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Bay Pines,
FL in 2005.

Dr. Daniel Slaybaugh, D.M.D.
Dr. Slaybaugh completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida in 1996 and graduated from
the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2000. Dr. Slaybaugh then completed a one year Advanced
Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program in St. Petersburg Florida in 2001.
After his residency, Dr. Slaybaugh opened a restorative practice in Clearwater and was a dentist with the
Army Reserves for 4 years. Dr. Slaybaugh joined the The Dental Walk In Clinic of Tampa Bay in 2002 and he
takes pride in giving apprehensive patients a positive experience as well as providing excellent results for
his comprehensive care patients.

Dental Hygenists:
Rodi Alston, RDH
Rodi Alston, a licensed registered dental hygienist has worked for our practice since 2006. Rodi was
born in Romania and moved to Florida where she earned her dental hygiene degree. Rodi has a relaxed style,
a meticulous technique, and a very caring attitude for her patients. We are very fortunate to have Rodi
as part of our staff as she is a great clinician and a very caring person. Rodi has graduated with highest
honors from the Hillsborough Community College and was awarded membership into the dental hygiene honor
society Sigma Phi Alpha, the most prestigious award earned by a dental hygiene graduate. Currently, she
is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. Because she always strives to offer our patients the
best dental hygiene treatment, she is a great asset to our practice and to her patients.
Kelley Morgan Turcotte, RDH
Kelley Morgan Turcotte has been in the dental field for ten years. She graduated at the top of her class
with her AS degree in Dental Hygiene from St. Petersburg College and she has been practicing for three
years. She grew up in North Carolina and has been living in Florida for twelve years.
